On Saturday I joined my boyfriend and his family for dinner at the historic White Horse Inn in the small town of Metamora, Michigan. Recently renovated, the restaurant’s decor nods to Metamora’s equestrian history and Michigan’s plentiful natural resources. My dinner included New England clam chowder, mac & cheese, a mint julep, and a warm, freshly baked chocolate chip cookie for dessert. I was definitely not disappointed! Good food and a phenomenal atmosphere, the White Horse Inn is one of Michigan’s oldest eating establishments that you won’t want to miss!
